Workshop Description
Join us for this dynamic webinar that will outline best practices in both the diagnosis and treatment of literacy disorders. Given new obstacles facing public education with COVID-19 learning loss, it is more critical than ever that school psychologists are up-to-date with best practices to both lead and inform diagnostic discussions and intervention recommendations for students with dyslexia and related literacy disorders.
This webinar will begin with a special session for NHASP members providing an overview of the current status of the organization. The new association strategic plan, association goals, and the association budget will be presented. All NHASP members are encouraged to attend this session for an overview of our amazing state association for school psychologists.

Target Audience
This workshop is appropriate for School Psychologists, Psychologists, Special Education Teachers and Administrators, Regular Education Teachers, and Speech Pathologists. The workshop is available to current NHASP members at a special reduced rate as a membership benefit. Additionally, members of other North East Regional state associations can attend at the NH member rate as part of our regional collaboration.

About The Presenter
Marianne Nice, MS, CCC-SLP, is a speech-language pathologist and reading specialist with 22 years experience in K-12 education. Marianne specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of dyslexia and related literacy disorders. She regularly provides professional development and consultation to school systems both locally and nationally. Marianne consults to school districts on multi-tiered systems of support models and the use of effective school-wide literacy interventions.
She has been a speaker at several national language and literacy conventions and was recently recognized by the International Dyslexia Association as a Dyslexia Specialist. Marianne lives in southern New Hampshire with her husband, also a reading teacher, and her two children ages 18 and 15.

Cancellations received prior to March 25th, 2022 will be refunded less a 5% administrative fee. No refunds will be provided for cancellations received after 5pm on Friday, March 25th, 2022.
