  We are excited to announce that NHASP will once again be providing the "Lunch and Learn" 1-hour-long professional development sessions (held over Zoom) one Monday per month from 12-1pm! Additionally, this year, we have made some additions (thanks to some additional work from NHASP leadership and our amazing presenters) and are now able to offer NASP-Approved CPD for these sessions!(*See conditions below) All 9 sessions (9 hours of CPD) are included with the price of your NHASP membership. Therefore, if you are already a 2026-27 NHASP Member, you are already automatically registered for these sessions. NHASP is also offering a new opportunity: Purchase access to these Lunch and Learn Professional Development sessions (9 hours) for the price of $70 and membership through June 30, 2027 will be included! (Which also provides additional discounts to any other professional development sessions) Below is a list of the Lunch & Learn sessions scheduled for this school year so far with topics to be discussed (facilitated by the school psychologist listed).   Three-Hour Professional Development Workshop

  Artificial intelligence is increasingly finding its way into educational and professional practice—but its use raises important questions for school psychologists.

  What are the risks to confidentiality and privacy? How do we account for bias or inaccurate AI-generated content? Where should we draw the boundaries around AI-assisted professional work?

  Join Dr. Adam Lockwood for a three-hour workshop examining the ethical, legal, and professional considerations involved in the use of artificial intelligence in school psychology.

  Topics will include:

  • Confidentiality and privacy

  • Accuracy and unsupported AI-generated content

  • Bias and equity

  • Disclosure and consent

  • Documentation

  • Professional accountability

  • Appropriate boundaries for AI-assisted work

  Through practical safeguards and case-based application, participants will consider how to make informed decisions about when, where, and how AI tools can be used responsibly in school psychology practice.

  The New Hampshire Association of School Psychologists (NHASP) invites school psychologists at all career stages to participate in theSchool Psychology Supervision Institute, a six-session professional learning experience led by Jason P. Kaplan, Ph.D., NCSP, and Joan Struzziero, Ph.D.

  Whether you are considering supervision for the first time, currently supervising practicum students or interns, mentoring early-career colleagues, or have years of supervisory experience, the Institute is designed to strengthen your practice while creating a community of school psychologists committed to developing the next generation of professionals.

  More Than a Workshop

  Effective supervision develops over time—and so does this Institute.

  Across six interactive sessions, participants will work through real-world supervision challenges usingcase discussion, problem-solving, reflection, and peer consultation. The extended format allows participants to learn new approaches, apply them in practice, return to the group, and continue developing their supervisory skills throughout the school year.

  To preserve this highly interactive, case-based experience,enrollment is limited to 20 participants.

  Throughout the Institute, participants will explore:

  • Effective and developmentally responsive supervision practices

  • Providing meaningful feedback and fostering reflective practice

  • Navigating ethical and professional challenges in supervision

  • Supervising behavioral and mental health service delivery

  • Supporting trainee growth, competence, and confidence

  • Mentorship, leadership, and school psychology workforce development

  The School Psychology Supervision Institute provides12 hours of advanced professional development focused on strengthening supervision, mentorship, behavioral health service delivery, ethical practice, and professional leadership.

  School psychologists who supervise practicum students, interns, and early-career professionals play an important role in both professional preparation and workforce development. District support for participation in the Institute represents an investment not only in an individual school psychologist’s professional learning, but also in the quality of supervision and professional capacity available within the school community.

  Participants completing the full Institute will earn 12 CEUs and an NHASP certificate of completion.
